In honor of International Women's Day, Rijeka welcomes inspiring speakers bringing forth current topics at the second Women’s Weekend from March 7 to 10, 2024 at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art and the “Art Kvart”. Women's Weekend is a conference that gathers important names of the regional and world scene in one place with the aim of connecting and empowering women and as a reminder to find time for ourselves in our busy schedules. Meet the Roxanich Winery, and toast to empowerment and equality of women in society with a limited edition long aged rare natural wine.
Inspirational stories of the speakers, panels, workshops and networking at the world level are the main features of Women’s Weekend. At the same time, visitors will be able to enjoy numerous relaxing and entertaining activities. Discover the aromas of Istria on March 9, 2024 at the afterparty in the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, and taste unique limited edition Roxanich wine labels - Montona 2018, Venezia 2019 and Portorose 2021 - adorned with Petra Rožanić's captivating artwork. As the brand connects like-minded individuals and businesses, Roxanich partnered with the academic painter Petra Rožanić to create a limited edition inaugural digital art series named "Braids: Weaving the Chains of Bitcoin". "Braids" intertwines with the world of Roxanich wines, creating a sensory experience like no other.
Women’s Weekend will feature prominent figures from various fields such as business, media, lifestyle, IT, health, and beauty. The conference aims to be the focal point for sharing experiences, discussing current issues, and fostering empowerment and equality. The eagerly awaited conference surpassed expectations in its inaugural edition, with venues brimming with attendees. Around a thousand attendees found inspiration in the substantive lectures and panels, featuring university professors, presidents, board members of notable companies, successful entrepreneurs, and opinion leaders.
