PIANOVINS

Intimate bistro evoking great emotions in Paris, France.

The small Paris eatery Pianovins was opened in 2018 and run by two alumni of the restaurant of legendary chef Guy Savoy: Michel Roncière at the “piano” (stove) and sommelier Éric Mancio in the front of house (“vins“). Settled within walking distance from Bastille, in Paris 11th arrondissement, the place swings between local bistro and gourmet restaurant.

Michel and Éric have combined their talent, innovative ideas, enthusiasm and smile in a reassuring residence created to have an intimate meal. Behind the white facade, the simple minimal masculine decor goes well with the dishes. Chef Michel sends out delicious French bistro cuisine with seasonal ingredients and his menu change every week.

Such an experience with Guy Savoy guarantees a high-gastronomy codes, such as the appetizer served at the very beginning of the meal and different courses. Everything is homemade. Guests can choose between the 4-course lunch menu, or the 5 or 7-course menu for dinner.

Eric Mancio is passionate about wine, so he is in charge of serving good mood and recommending guests to discover excellent rare organic wines from France and abroad.

"Both formerly of the Guy Savoy, Michel Roncière and Éric Mancio have joined forces: the first in the kitchen, the second in the wine cellar. The menu is well designed and prepared according to market availability. Meals are served in a small dining room (20 seats at tightly packed tables) with an open kitchen and counter dining."
